Speakers
The ABCD welcomes opportunities to speak to groups about actuarial professionalism, guidance, the discipline process, and related subjects. Board members and the attorneys who work with the Board make informal educational presentations to actuaries, regulators, and others. No fee is charged.
Requesting a speaker
Requests for speakers should be made as far in advance as possible. Scheduling a presentation depends primarily on the availability of ABCD members. There may also be other considerations, such as travel distance and expense.
In your request
if you would like an ABCD representative to speak at a meeting of your actuarial organization or at some other event, please send us a request by e-mail.
In your message, specify whether you are requesting a particular speaker or making a general request for an ABCD representative. Include as much of the following information as possible:
- The name of the event (if known)
